FanSeeStats and its group of websites is defined by the ‘Story of Sport through Stats’ but sometimes it is useful to tell stories through videos and books. I found a a series of videos related to sports and culture as it developed in Britain.
While FanSeeStats is focused on the USA and Canada sports leagues, these videos on sports in Britain are still very relevant as the social development that took place in Britain was mirrored in both the USA and Canada. Also, I did not see any videos that took the same historical approach with USA and Canada sports.
This is the second video of Socio-culture factors affecting sports by James Morris and focuses on post-1850s/industrial times. I hope you find it as interesting as I did.
